Le uve provengono da vigne di 15 anni, gestite con metodo biologico, trattate solamente con rame e zolfo e concimate con letame di stalla e posizionate su un cordone speronato alto, per garantire l’ombreggiamento delle uve e preservare gli aromi. Il terreno argilloso, ricco di ferro e quarzi e posizionato a 200 m sul livello del mare e a 10 km dalla costa, in un terroir unico e incontaminato, caratterizzato da importanti escursioni termiche tra giorno e notte.Plant
High spurred cordon to provide shade for the grapes and preserve the aromas, with 3000 vines/hectare.Vinification
The grapes are selected and harvested by hand and placed in 18 kg crates. Before being pressed, the grapes are placed overnight in cold storage in order to have a greater extraction of aromas and avoid oxidation. After full fermentation, the wine is left in barriques for 10 months. Bottled by hand and unfiltered. A refinement of 3 years in bottle follows.Wine
The colour is light ruby red, with garnet hues, brilliant. The nose expresses elegant hints of small red fruits, such as raspberry, wild strawberry and blackberry, with elegant and delicate balsamic and citrus notes. The palate has a good structure and the soft, silky tannins, fine acidity and remarkable persistence make it perfectly balanced and exceptionally drinkable.
